Secure File Exchange

Our Secure File Exchange is a service that allows files to be securely uploaded and downloaded from the Internet. Users can create online folders and assign security rights to them so that only users who have been granted access can see the folder, upload files to it and download files from it.

This is typically used by accountants to create a secure area for their clients to exchange files with them. These files can be anything (subject to English law and our normal acceptable use policy which would prohibit files that are offensive, obscene, incite hatred etc.) This is a very convenient way to exchange data with clients, or to build a library of files that can be browsed and accessed from anywhere by any authorised user.

It is the ability to create user groups and assign security access rights that really makes this a powerful system. For example you can create a folder that can only be seen and accessed by users that are members of a particular interest group.

We provide the service to all of our accountancy partners for no charge other than any data used over and above your allowance. We pool all of the allowances for all of the services you take from us and charge for storage used overall - this allows you to benefit from unused allowances in different services and minimises your overall storage charge.
