When you use an Online Document Management system you have visibility of your paperwork no matter where you are. This allows users to access the original paperwork to confirm what it says. With Online50 you can choose to subscribe to Document Management if your business needs it. The standard applications available on the Online50 Service are DocuSoft and Microsoft Office Document Imaging. Other software can be run on our Elastic Computing Platform (ECP).
The Document Management solution from DocuSoft is available for a simple monthly fee on the Online50 service. The software can be setup in one of a number of standard configurations, and be further tailored to your business. Accredited by the ICAEW, DocuSoft provides a secure and flexible way to capture your documents, route them through your business and ensure that necessary tasks relating to the document are completed.
For basic requirements the Document Imaging features of Microsoft Office may be enough for you. When you subscribe to Microsoft Office and to the Universal Scanning Solution the Microsoft Document Imaging components are enabled on your account. This allows you to capture documents onto the Online50 platform, but has no built in support for some of the more advanced features that are provided by a dedicated package like DocuSoft.
Key to working with original documents is the ability to capture them electronically. Our Universal Scanning Solution is available for users who want to be able to capture original documents using a scanner at their premises and have the image captured into software running on the Online50 service. We offer the Universal Scanning Solution with a flexible license - you license each registered user that you want to be able to scan documents on a per user per month basis. When this user is logged in they can use any scanner that they can access from the PC they are using that has a TWAIN compatible driver. We license the user, not the workstation or the scanner, giving you maximum flexibility. The same user can operate a number of different scanners in different locations if required.
