When you use your Sage software online, you get all the benefits of the UK's most popular small business software plus all the benefits of being able to access your system at any time from any where. Online50 is an ideal solution if you have multiple locations, or need to support people working from home, or want to have part of your accounting work done by your accountant.
As a general purpose small business accounting package the Sage 50 Accounts range is a great choice for most small businesses. The range provides three different levels and can support multiple users and multiple companies if required.
The entry level system provides a solid small business accounting system. It includes support for departmental analysis, invoicing and credit control, integration with web payment systems and provides three ledgers plus a cash book. It does not support more then two simultaneous users, indvidual customer pricing, stock control, order processing or any foreign currency.
Accounts Plus supports up to two simultaneous users, provides improved stock control including Bill of Materials support, allows multiple delivery addreses for customers and suppliers, maintains a list of prepayments and accruals and provides a Fixed Asset register.

Unique to Online50 the Sage 50 Hosted Bureau License allows accountants access to an unlimited number of client datasets, all in real time, at any version level. You can use the Hosted Bureau license to work on your clients accounts regardless of whether or not the clients use the Online50 service.

Sage 50 Payroll is available to support different size payrolls and with a range of features according to your needs. Unlike Sage 50 Accounts we only provide a single version of Payroll to make sure that users stay current with all relevant legislation.
If you use Sage 50 Payroll on the Online50 service you can post payroll journals directly to your accounts, initiate payments for staff through electronic banking or BACS software, and exchange information directly with HMRC through the Government Gateway.
The CIS module provides support for handling the Construction Industry Scheme for sub contractors. You will need to use it together with any level of Sage 50 Accounts from version 2007 onwards. When the CIS module is enabled you will be able to mark suppliers as being subcontractors and the system will automatically look after your CIS deductions.
Using Sage 50 Job Costing Professional you can track your costs by individual Jobs and see how you are perfoming. Newer versions of Sage 50 Accounts include support for Project Accounting (in Accounts Plus and Accounts Professional) but Sage 50 Job Costing Professional provides a broader range of features and integrates with both Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll.
The Sage 50 Job Costing Professional oftware allows you to set and closely monitor budgets for customer projects. You can choose to track costs for the job overall or to track costs by activity within the job. You can specify when, how and on what basis to invoice your customers, and raise invoices directly from the software. You have the opportunity to classify Jobs in ways that suit your business and report on jobs at any time to track job progress, costs and revenue to date.
Users of Sage 50 Job Costing Professional operate businesses that produce to customer orders. This could be a construction or manufacturing company, but any company that produces to order or runs a 'job bag' approach could benefit from the system. If your needs are less demanding then the Project Accoutning features of Sage 50 Accounts Professional may be enough for your needs.
